Piano is the joy of my life. I feel fortunate to be able to teach piano and to pass on the gift of music. Here are some highlights of my musical journey.

Became a ‘Permanent Professional Certified Teacher of Music in Piano’ in 2009
Discovered Simply Music in 2002 and have been teaching it ever since.
Received national certification through the Music Teachers National Association in 1999 and was president of my local chapter for four years.
Opened Hands Together Piano studio in 1993
Continuously participate in educational programs and workshops through the Music
Teachers National Association and through Simply Music
Studied for several years with local concert artists Sheila Paige and Alex Ramirez, who are experts in teaching proper body mechanics and the joy of playing piano.
Earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Music from the University of Pittsburgh, and later took graduate music courses at Temple University.

We had friends over for dinner the other night and our six-year-old daughter wowed them with her growing repertoire of songs. She had them singing and clapping along. They could not believe she has only been taking lessons for seven months. We are thrilled with Simply Music.

I'm so glad Devyn decided to be in the recital. I had originally thought she hadn't been playing long enough. Thanks for giving her the opportunity.
